Ladybird is the most sought-after force in biological pest control. Famous for her control of aphids, Ladybird will also consume large numbers of whitefly, mealybugs, scales, mites and many other soft-bodied insects. Ladybird will consume up to 1,000 aphids in her lifetime in both her larval and adult stages and works well in garden and greenhouse settings. She is usually found on plants where aphids or scale insects are, and she lays her eggs near her prey to increase the likelihood the larvae will find it easily. The best part about Ladybird is that she cannot breed indoors and she does not sting humans, nor does she carry diseases.
